Job description
We are looking for a Sales Manager Nordics to join our sales team.
This role is based out of the Head Office in Gentofte with frequent travel to visit customers expected.
You will report directly to our CSO. As Wheat’s new Sales Manager for the Nordics, you will take ownership of our most established and strategically important markets in Scandinavia. You will be in the driving seat of an exciting commercial journey — deepening relationships with existing wholesale partners, strengthening Wheat’s leadership position in the domestic market, and expanding the brand’s footprint across select premium retail channels across the region. This is a high-impact role in a market that is already performing strongly, with significant further growth potential.
Key responsibilities
• Own and deliver against the sales budget for your assigned markets and accounts, setting ambitious yet achievable targets and holding yourself accountable to results
• Build and deepen long-term relationships with Wheat’s existing wholesale partners, acting as a trusted brand ambassador and go-to commercial contact
• Identify and convert new retail partners, strategically expanding Wheat’s distribution across premium channels while safeguarding brand positioning
• Drive full-category penetration — across Footwear, Outerwear and Ready-to-Wear — both within existing accounts and through new business development
• Lead compelling, best-in-class collection presentations that inspire partners and deliver strong seasonal sell-in results
• Collaborate with retail partners to develop joint sales and marketing plans that elevate brand visibility and drive measurable sell-out performance
• Proactively generate in-season re-orders by monitoring partner sell-out data and identifying restocking opportunities in a timely manner
• Ensure Wheat is presented at its best across all touchpoints — from in-store fixtures and merchandising to online product listings and digital assets
• Maintain a consistent presence with key accounts through regular visits and meetings, strengthening partnerships and staying close to market developments
• Report regularly to the Chief Sales Officer on sell-in, sell-out and inventory performance, alongside insights into market trends, competitive activity and new business pipeline
Qualifications
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role or related within premium lifestyle, fashion, or footwear brands
• Solid experience in sales and key account management in a fast-growing business with proven sales track record
• Understanding of the Danish/Scandinavia fashion & lifestyle retail scene a must
• Commercially astute, you have a flair for business opportunity/growth
• Danish mother tongue
• Fluent in English other languages a plus
• Excellent relationship skills and outspoken – natural team player
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office and in particular Excel.
• Data driven – you can work with data and quickly process for actions
• Digital and SoMe savvy
